![]() ![]() I just haven't seen the games out there use the new version, so I'm guessing it was poorly designed by Apple. When the Game Center app went away in iOS, Apple left your friends list and allowed access for the apps themselves to manage that list and add/remove people per game. I personally hate when anything forces you to use Facebook. If enough people ask, maybe they'll implement something. As far as I understand, theres no way to play Dragon City without linking it to a Facebook account. It's just blank where that would normally be found. I de-authorized the FB app to post on my behalf through Facebook settings, but its still very easy to send invitations to all Facebook friends through the Dragon City app (which my son usually plays on my iPad). ![]() Even adding a real email to it recently, that account doesn't even have a Facebook option in game at all. ![]() I even have an old apple id for Game Center on one of their accounts that was a 'kids' id at the time, with no email associated to it. For those of us who have kids who play, there's no way to have them friend you as they're certainly not going to have access to Facebook. So many other games have something similar, there's no reason they can't add it to Dragonvale. I email them a few times a year asking for them to implement a way to friend people outside Facebook. ![]()
